Every year, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in collaboration with different partners, comes together to celebrate the annual International Girls in ICT Day. The event, which takes place on the fourth Thursday of April, aims to inspire and encourage girls to pursue careers in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics and engage effectively in the digital sector.

The national celebrations brought together mentors, girls, young women, and youth to exchange their experiences and shared knowledge around the challenges and opportunities to pursue leadership roles and actively engage in the digital sector and beyond.
